And now, it’s time for a transition.

"She understood that the hardest times in life to go through were when you were transition from one version of yourself to another." Sarah Addison Allen

Lovelies! Thank you for the most amazing emails and feedback on the podcast. It has been an amazing week and I’m really proud of everything that we’ve been doing. We even got our first 5-star review (!!). When I posted last week, I hinted at some big changes coming to the blog and the newsletter. Changes that I’m incredibly excited about. And while this change may not come as a surprise to some, it’s something that I’ve been fighting for over a year. Fighting, because I was afraid to give up everything I had spent years building. But the disconnect has continued to build and the resentment continued to grow. So I quietly...

I’ve been cooking up something new!

Hello, lovely! I know it’s been a while since I’ve written. And there have been a few reasons for my absence, including a new project I’ve been working on and putting a lot of my energy (and free time) into. What is it, you ask? A podcast. That’s what. For the past two years, I’ve talked about starting one. I even went so far as to buy a professional microphone last year because I told myself IT. WAS. TIME. And then promptly let it collect dust on the bookshelf in my office. (Heh.) Turns out, I just needed to find the right co-host. I’m excited to be partnering on this...

7 Pasta Recipes That Will Make You Queen of the Kitchen

If I could eat pasta every single day of the week for the rest of my life, I would. In fact, I’m pretty sure I’ve tried. That undying love for the deliciously doughy and soul-satisfying noodle is the exact reason I wanted my first non-smoothie recipe collection to be all about pasta. In my single lady days, I was known to eat pasta for lunch and dinner for the better part of a week. It was cheap and easy, fitting nicely into my grad student lifestyle. Now that I’m a bona-fide adult, cooking for a husband and toddler, I’ve had to use my noodle (ha!) to expand my horizons and make something other than spaghetti...

Another one of my crazy ideas. And this time, it’s all about you.

The $2 Shop

I hinted at this last week and have literally been vacillating between excitement and nausea in anticipation of sharing what I’ve been working on. So … here goes! Another idea to come about from my meditation last week was to launch an entire shop filled with hyper focused recipe collections that are easy to digest and use, alongside worksheets and guides to help feed the rest of you. And while that may not sound super exciting, this next part certainly will. Everything in the shop will be $2. No, that’s not a typo. There aren’t any additional numbers or zeros that are supposed to appear next to that 2. Every...

1/100: I may have lost my mind.

You’re probably going to think I’m crazy. I kind of think I’m crazy. (We both know that never seemed to stop me in the past.) I’m committing to blogging for 100 consecutive days. Yep. 100 blog posts in 100 days. It doesn’t matter how I feel, when it happens, or if it’s any good. The entire point is to simply create and put myself out there. In my hay day of blogging, I was creating new content (and recipes, no less) 5 days per week. That’s a LOT of writing. Interestingly, the more I did it, the more I wanted to do it and the more ideas I had. It...
