I think this quote from Michael London fits in quite nicely with that theme, and calls for a potential update. Like…Do epic shit now.
What’s one thing that you’ve been wanting to do (for ever) that you just keep putting off?
For me it was going to the gym. I have had a gym membership for close to 7 months. And in the beginning, I went about 2-3 times a week. And then The Hubster and I both fell off the wagon.
I’ve been telling myself for the last 2 months that I should go. And have been beating myself up for not getting my lazy behind there.
Last night, I set an alarm. This morning I woke up (without it) and headed straight for the gym. It felt awesome to just get out there and do it.
It might seem small, but all of those coulda-shoulda-woulda thoughts add up.
And can create blockages in your life.
So sit down. Make a list. And write down one small thing you can do today to begin making progress on those goals, ideas, and dreams.
It doesn’t have to be an epic move. It can be so tiny that only you will know you are making progress.
The point here is to just do it. Do it today. And stop putting it off for a tomorrow that might not come.
