6 flavor combinations that will make you the smoothie queen.

I’m pretty sure what started out as an attempt to get more fruits and veggies in my diet is now a full-blown addiction.

Things I’ve learned about myself since I reintroduced smoothies back into my life:

  • I feel a thousand time better when I start my day with fresh fruit.
  • I am not a fan of mixed berry smoothies. The raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, strawberry smoothie I had this morning was only MEH compared to a whole string of AMAZEBALLS.
  • I am a big fan of mango and pineapple in smoothies. I’m not sure how that happened (well, the part about the mangoes), but I don’t see it stopping anytime soon.
  • Almond milk is my preferred liquid additive, over juice and/or water.
  • My Ninja Blender* has literally been a game-changer. Prior to having it, smoothies were a major pain in the ass. And they weren’t actually smooth. Now? It’s ridiculously easy to make, to enjoy, and to clean. Heck. Yeah.
