Phipps is my happy place.

When my parents got us a membership to Phipps Conservatory close to 2 years ago, I figured it would be an okay way to pass the time during the winter months until The Babe was old enough to go to places like the Zoo and the Children’s Museum.

I kind of just assumed that it wouldn’t be fun or interesting enough to hold her attention.

Turns out, I was wrong.

It is anything but a place to simply pass the time.

Each trip reminds me of how good they are for the soul. For MY soul.

I am thankful for the creativity and color; the playfulness and the temporariness. I am grateful for the generosity in their membership that it allows me to bring friends and share my love for the space. And I am filled with joy every time I see how excited The Babe gets when she steps through the doors.

If you haven’t been, you really should go.

And if you haven’t been to see the Spring Flower Show: Masterpieces in Bloom, you’re seriously missing out. Each time we go it’s a little different and a little more beautiful.
