Things I’m kind of obsessed with lately.

I was going to write a snarky post about what it’s like to be a mom and sick, but it looks like someone else did it for me. Probably for the best. Instead, I guess I’ll talk about some of things I’ve been obsessed with lately.

  1. Morning smoothies. Still.
  2. Fresh flowers, like the amazing daffodils adorning our window sill right now.
  3. Cara Cara oranges. (Okay, any oranges really. I blame our trip to Arizona for helping me down this road.)
  4. This balsamic vinaigrette. I don’t ever want to eat (or make) another one again.
  5. The Slide On Pencil from NYX Cosmetics. It’s seriously the most luxurious eye pencil; goes on like butter and comes in the best colors.
  6. Lip stain.
  7. Any and everything Charming Charlie. Which is kiiiiind of dangerous since I walk past it each week when we go to Gymboree.
  8. Ben Howard. I forgot how much I love his voice and how calming it is for me. Definitely putting it back on the “getting shit done” playlist.
  9. This recipe for General Tso’s Chickpeas (vegan, gluten free) and this recipe for Mongolian Beef Noodle Bowl (with some broccoli thrown in for good measure). Both are redic. And should be made right away.
  10. GIF’s. Because sometimes, the best way to say I love you (or, seriously WTF) is in GIF form.
